Independent guide / For informed traders

Compare the cost. Then choose your exchange.

The cheaper option depends on your product, fee tier, order execution and eligible discounts. Compare the final cost of the same trade on both exchanges rather than comparing rebate percentages alone.

What does the same volume cost?

Enter the fee rate shown in each exchange account for the same product and order type. The starting values below are hypothetical, not a current exchange quote. Use a rebate only when your account confirms it applies.

Volume counts each executed side. For an opening and closing trade, include both sides. Excludes spread, slippage, funding and withdrawals. Do not combine BNB and referral discounts unless Binance confirms that combination for your account.

Published Binance spot example

The regular-user schedule currently lists 0.100% maker and taker fees. Its eligible BNB fee-payment column shows 0.075%. At $10,000 of one-way volume, those rates imply $10 or $7.50 before any separately verified referral benefit. Check the official fee schedule for your pair and account.

The answer

OKX vs Binance: which has lower trading fees?

Neither exchange is always cheaper. Your product, maker or taker rate, fee tier and eligible discounts determine the result. A larger rebate percentage alone does not identify the lower final fee.

Before you decide

Questions traders ask.

Straight answers before you follow a referral link.

Is a 20% rebate better than a lower starting fee?

Only if the final cost is lower. Illustratively, a 0.100% fee reduced by 20% becomes 0.080%, which is still above 0.075%. These are calculation inputs, not a universal exchange ranking.

Can I compare spot fees with futures fees?

Compare the same product on both exchanges. Spot and futures have different fee schedules, and perpetual futures may include funding.

Can BNB discounts and referral rebates be combined?

Use the terms and rates shown for your own Binance account. Do not apply both reductions unless their combination is confirmed.

Does this show the full cost of a trade?

It compares the trading fees you enter after the assumed rebate. Execution costs and other charges are separate.

Is Binance better than OKX?

There is no single answer for every trader. Compare availability, the products you use, execution costs and your actual account fee tier.

Does Binance charge trading fees?

Its published regular-user spot schedule lists 0.100% maker and taker fees, with 0.075% shown for eligible BNB fee payment. Pair-specific promotions and other conditions can change the result.

Does a larger rebate mean a lower final fee?

No. A 20% rebate on a higher starting fee can cost more than a smaller rebate on a lower starting fee. Check which discounts can be combined.

Is an OKX rebate code the same as a referral or sign-up code?

On this page, COMPAREFEES is the OKX affiliate referral code associated with the eligible fee-rebate offer. People also call it a rebate code, invitation code or sign-up code. Check the code and benefit on OKX before completing registration.

Where do I enter the code after logging in?

If you already have an account, use the separate existing-user link in the OKX offer above. Log in and enter COMPAREFEES when prompted. The normal new-account registration link is a different route.

Can I add a referral code after signing up?

Use the existing-user linking route to check your account. An existing referral relationship may affect eligibility. Follow the result displayed by OKX; entering a code on this website does not change your exchange account.

Does a trading-fee rebate apply to my deposit?

No. The rebate is a share of eligible trading fees. It is not a percentage of your deposit, account balance or trading profit. Funding and other charges are separate unless the exchange offer explicitly includes them.
